In my years with Imi, I learned to recognize and respect his strong self esteem and especially the respect he earned and gave to others and especially for us his students. Just like every human being sometimes he made mistakes. An error in the speech, an error in the move or in a Krav-Maga exercise. When these errors occurred he immediately apologize in a thousand different ways for his mistake and did not calm down until he was told that he was excused. He explained to us that ''it is not only about respect for others, it is about dignity and respect for your self''. 
And myself like a direct student and his successor must behave the same way and under the same rules of behavior, because if not, I will be betraying my teacher and the way he taught me and raised me and I can not allow this to happen. My loyalty to my teacher Imi is the most important value in my life, to apologize and ask for forgiveness. 
Over the years as a professor and Grand Master, I gave some people, ex students of Bukan School, diplomas and black belts. At the time I thought it was the right thing to do because those people have spoken clearly that they wanted to continue the path of the creator of Krav-Maga Sr.Imi Lichtenfeld to prevent that this sacred path never ends. Unfortunately some of these people took advantage in the negative way of my goodness and my faith in them just to receive such a degree and then soon after they betray the School, betray me and foremost they betray the memory, the respect and the way of Imi. 
These people can 'boast' of their belts as they want to, they do not deserve it and in the moment they left the school they no longer possess this degree. To explain with more detail I want to show why things work this way. Let's take a look at the world of medicine, every day there are new medications, different methods, surgical techniques, advanced technological accessories, new diseases and new ways to treat them. Doctor who will not have full knowledge of these innovations, inventions and advances in medical science, will regress as a professional in his area and ability to heal. And for this reason there are always days of seminars and study for doctors. 
The same thing also happens in the world of law, where those who exercise the profession should always be well informed and find out about new laws, procurement etc. One who receives a medical degree can not practice in the legal function and vice verse, and likewise one who receives a black belt in Imi`s Original Krav Maga, but do not train and study to improve and preserve itself in the way of Imi , he is not a black belt anymore. Anyone can simply tie a black belt to the waist, you can even tie more than one belt at the same time if you want, but you will still be nothing more than just a poor clown. 
I apologize and ask forgiveness from everyone for being so naive and kind and believe in these people and give them black belt, Dans etc. These people do not deserve these titles. I ask you, my dear students, teachers, Krav Maga followers and lovers to understand that these people have nothing to do and do not have any connection with Bukan or Imi and its original path.
